A new award category will be unveiled at this year’s Bristol Big Green Week celebrating individuals and businesses committed to a more sustainable future. The People. Environment. Achievement. (P.E.A.) Awards have added the South West’s Greenest Business category to this years honours.

“We’ve spent the last six years scouring the globe for unsung heroes who are changing the world and rewriting the future,” says Jarvis Smith, P.E.A. Awards founder. “Whether they’re working in Ecuador or India – rainforests or urban office blocks – all the winners of our annual P.E.A. Awards are change makers.

“We know that there are huge numbers of inspiring individuals in Bristol and the South West and we want to shine a light on their great work.”

It’s free to enter via the P.E.A. Awards website before 31 August 2016. Anyone is welcome to enter themselves or another inspiring individual based in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The winner will be showcased in MyGreenPod Magazine, distributed with the Guardian newspaper, and will be featured online.
